Bay Jam 28 Features Great Music Free Admission, More

ISLAMORADA, Florida Keys— The 28th annual Bay Jam Set for Sunday, March 26, at the ICE Amphitheater in Islamorada Founders Park, MM 87, gates open at 10 a.m. and music starts at 11 a.m.   Admission is free.

“This year’s Bay Jam features exciting additions including David Feder notes that Bay Jam was created more than two decades ago to provide scholarships to Keys high school students to pursue music, dance, voice or the arts.   

The event is a family-friendly day of music and fun in a spectacular setting on the Florida Bay.  Concertgoers can enjoy a swim at the bay-front beach just steps away from the ICE Amphitheater stage, check out arts and crafts vendors from all over the country, and sample wide variety of great food and award winning local beer. ICE…cool entertainment is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing quality entertainment and cultural events to Upper Keys residents and has provided over $750.000 in music and arts grants to local students and school programs to date.

How Students Apply for ICE’s Bay Jam Scholarships

For the Arts Enhancement Grants, any high school student with a desire to learn and explore the arts, dance or music who receives a letter of recommendation from a teacher or mentor may earn consideration for an ICE scholarship.

Students can download the scholarship application at or contact their art or music teachers for more information.  All Upper Keys high school students are eligible to apply, including home-schooled students.
